About Me
- The bad Liz
- I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. I am still living in the area, although I spent 3 years in Germany (Stuttgart). Fighting the age long battle against the bulge. Some days I am winning, some days the bulge is winning. I hang out with my dogs (three toy fox terrierists) and husband.

Peterborough Petroglyphs - Ontario, Canada - finished
This is a good size piece - the beaded area is 8.5 by 7.5 inches. I fused some interfacing on a picture from a t-shirt that I never wore. I loved the picture and didn't want to let it go. I used shades pale blue in the sky and tried to keep a circle pattern in it. On the rock surface were many rock carvings but they would have been lost in the beadwork, so I took a couple to enlarge so they could be seen. This will be framed to hang in the house.

I love this piece. The sky appears to be moving. It also reminds me of a piece that I plan on doing someday.... Can't wait to see more of your work:)
Wow, this is a beautiful piece! I am fascinated by petroglyphs (they inspired the name of my blog, too), but I never thought of creating a beaded piece focused on petroglyphs. You have inspired me! (And I love your moose pieces, too!)
Thanks all - I'm still trying to figure out how to frame this, because it doesn't look right if I take the wording off the top and bottom.
